Rapidly increasing amounts of Greenhouse Gases in the atmosphere are putting pressure on many natural ecosystems on land, in the oceans, and within human populations.
Increased air and ocean temperatures are melting ice cover accelerating the heating effect, changing or reducing biodiversity, increasing the intensity and frequency of damaging storms and wildfires and disrupting food supplies.
We are rapidly approaching a number of "tipping points" where harm will be difficult if not impossible to reverse.
